Looking for Grizzlies at Crypt Lake, Waterton Lakes National Park

I’m lucky enough to have had my dream job (albeit a very poorly paying one) when I was in my twenties as sales and marketing manager for an adventure travel company. It was pretty hard to say no when work took you to places like India, China, South Africa, Kenya, Costa Rica and the high Arctic.

Now I’ve turned my attention to exploring the hundreds of amazing trails to be found in the Canadian Rockies and through the incredible red rocks and canyons in Utah. I’ve also recently started mountain biking, although my skills leave something to be desired. In the winter, my weekends are spent downhill skiing (and desperately trying to get good enough to keep up with my husband!). When I’m not exploring in the mountains, I like to get out and explore the amazing restaurants, festivals and the river valley in my home city, Edmonton.

To be honest, blogging isn’t something that I thought I would want to do. My job requires me to teach others how to market themselves and I’ve always figured that I can’t expect someone else to do what I say unless I’ve done it myself. So voila! Here is my blog…

Cheers,
